Picking up your child from class In the event that you, yourself (or any persons noted on the enrolment form) are unable to pick up your child after class, it is your responsibility to notify me of any changes. Similarly, if your child is under the age of 18 and you allow them to turn arrive at (or leave) class alone, it is your responsibility. Ultimately, your child is under the care of Fusion School of Dance whilst they are attending the school during class times. Therefore, please have someone available to pick up your child when the class ends.
Toilet Parents are responsible for taking their OWN child to the toilet should the need arise during the class. Particularly for classes held in the Progressive Hall, please note that the toilets are located outside of the main building. For this reason, parents are expected to be available in the waiting area whilst their child is taking a class.
If your child needs to go to the toilet during the class and is unable to go alone due to their age (particularly at the Progressive Hall location where the toilet is outside), I will assume that you are happy to allow another adult to help your child, should you not be available in the waiting room.
Watching classes It can often be very distracting for both child and teacher when parents and siblings are in the class watching. For this reason, Fusion School of Dance does not allow anyone to observe classes. This also includes friends of any age group. Obviously I understand that parents will be interested to see what their child has been learning in class. Therefore, parents will be invited along to watch a class at the end of term. This will usually occur at the end of the Autumn Term (just before the Christmas break) and also at the end of the summer term (before the Summer Holidays).
In the interest of child safety, parents must not take pictures/ videotape any part of the class.
